Colourless glass rummer, blown in three parts: a trumpet shaped foot, a cylindrical hollow stem and an ovoid bowl. All three elements have slight vertical ribs. The stem has applied 'raspberry prunts' and a small prunt mould-stamped with the letter 'S'. On the joint between stem and bowl there is an applied and tooled thread of glass. The glass is crizzling.

| Object history | The 'S' mark has been claimed as Southwarh or Savoy glasshouses. Another object with an S-marked stem in the V&A is C.589-1925. It is thought that the shapes and chemical compositions of the 'S' and Ravenshead seal groups are so close that George Ravenscroft is likely to have been responsible for the 'S', presumably for Savoy in 1676. |
