Furnishing fabric of plate-printed cotton. Printed in dark brown on a yellow ground with a design depicting the elements personified by certain Gods and Goddesses. Vulcan personifies fire, and Juno is in a chariot drawn by peacocks to personify Air. A little of Earth and Water are visible beyond a broad decorative stripe containing trophies based on the same theme. A border on the right contains the signs of the zodiac. The plate used is 1 foot and 6.625 inches deep (47.3 cms).
