Plate, glazed earthenware with underglaze decoration in blue on a white background. The centre of the dish has an inscription enclosed within two overlapping octagons. This is encircled by a border of scrolling patterns radiating out to eight evenly placed spots of blue glaze. The flange is decorated with a border of hastily drawn natural shapes and scrolling lines.
