Bowl

17th century (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

The outside is similar to C.1960-1910, with a brown rim, but a lobed medallion with scrolling inside it. Single leaves between two spots act as dividers. There is an added band with one line of scrolling above the base ring. The band at the top of the well contains eight lemon-shapes (cf. 964-1886). The rest of the well is plain. A double circle surrounds the centre which contains a flower with four pairs of leaves creating a square shape similar to that in .65-1971. There are four spur marks and a double circle round the recessed centre of the base ring.
