Plate of porcelain and gilded. In the centre in gold is the letter 'N' crowned and entwined with the double L's, and surrounded by olive branches bound by a ribbon from which suspends the cross of the 'Légion d'Honneur'. The border is painted in dark blue, on which are depicted in gold, medallions enclosing crowns and crowned bees, separated by a pattern of bees within lozenge-shaped diapers.
