Plate of stoneware transfer-printed in black and painted in underglaze blue, enamels and gilded. Scalloped edge. In the middle is a basket of flowers surrounded by a circle and pendant flower motives to which are added the Chinese rhinoceros horn and papyrus rolls. The wavy border is a broad area of underglaze blue over which are painted flowers in gold.
