Historical context
Note in Register: A dish marked 'Neumarkt' with nine lobes (probably from the same mould) and exactly similar design is in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. Dr. Glaisher, who bought it at Basle, came to the conclusion it was modern after seeing several others of the same order in a dealer's shop at Brussels.
