Nearly hemispherical; on the outside a little above the small foot, is a narrow raised band impressed with a beaded pattern. Incised design inside of arched blank panels edged with green, with scribbled lines in the spandrils (which are roughly coloured yellowish brown), forming a wide border; at the bottom, in a medallion, a rough scribbled rosette coloured yellow; outside, four horizontal bands containing looped incised lines roughly coloured green and brown alternately

Brief description
Earthenware covered with a white slip and with incised decoration enhanced with splashes of green and brown. Byzantine, probably Thessalonica, 13th or 14th century.
