Small tile in the shape of a cross, fritware, decorated in the overglaze technique known as mina'i (from the Persian meaning 'enamelled'). The background is turquoise, and the surface decoration is lightly moulded. It is decorated with a vertical stem which branches into the right and left arms of the cross. This was once painted in gold leaf which is now mostly lost. The background is decorated with spirals and tightly curled leaves in a black pigment. One arm is broken off and missing.
