Bowl of tin-glazed earthenware painted with enamels. Out-turned rim and a small foot. Decoration consists of a circular panel occupying the bottom of the bowl and depicting a halberdier with two dogs, moving in a landscape containing in the foreground, cannons, powder barrels (?) mines, etc. and in the background a town and mountains. From this roundel radiate tulips in yellow and green, and between and beyond them are oval motives shaded in blue with an orange centre, all on a manganese ground. On the back of the bowl are leaf sprays roughly painted in blue.

Bowl of tin-glazed earthenware painted with enamels. Out-turned rim and a small foot.
