Cup and saucer of porcelain. The cup has no handle. Transfer-printed in black from an engraving by Robert Hancock entitled 'L'Amour'. The decoration consists of a garden scene in which is a lady on a seat and a gentleman kneeling before her kissing her hand; behind the seat stands another lady. On the cup are two prints from the same engraving in one of which the figures are omitted; inside is a swan.
