Plate of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels. With a lobed rim and in the border is a relief decoration of C-shaped scrolls forming plain panels, and with embellishments of flowers and ribbons at their points of juncture. The relief decoration is picked out with dark brown and turquoise enamels. Decorated with sprays of flowers in the border-panels. In the centre is a scene in sepia depicting two men, one dismounted from his horse and reclining on the ground, the second stands by a stone monument with his hat in his hand.
