Plate of lead-glazed hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Octagonal and painted in famille rose style with two birds billing amongst flowers and rocks, and on the rim are sprays of peonies and lotus, and the arms and crest of Lovett. Round the well is a border of cresting.

Plate of lead-glazed hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Octagonal and painted in famille rose style with two birds billing amongst flowers and rocks, and on the rim are sprays of peonies and lotus, and the arms and crest of Lovett. Round the well is a border of cresting.
