Painted in underglaze blue, enamels, violet lustre and gold after an Imari model, the centre with a bird on a wave-wasted rock near a pine tree, the rim with reserves and lobed panels with phoenixes and flowers. Outside, peony sprays in underglaze blue and red enamel, and three lines in blue above the footring.
