Encaustic tile, one of a set of four tiles (C.84 to C-1976). The overall design is a repeat diaper covering four tiles with lozenges in brown and yellow; at the centre of each are two falcons or eagles with their beaks directed towards a coat of arms. In the corners are leafy sprays.
