Dish painted in darck blue, orange, yellow, copper green and dark red. In the middle, in a medallion with siccessive borders of wavy ribbon-motives and palmettes, Nessus carrying off Deianira. On the rim, a symmetrical design composed of winged masks, dolphins in pairs on either side of a basin, and formal flowers between cornucopias, in reserve on an orange ground. The back plain, the middle bare of enamel.
