Slop-bowl of hard-paste porcelain. Open semi-circular bowl, on a footrim. The interior is painted with a rim of interlacing bandwork in gold, and a shaped oval cartouche enclosing chinoiserie figure subjects and bordered with foliate bandwork in gold, iron-red and purple; the exterior with two similar panels, and with sprays of "India flowers".
