Physical description

Screen-printed and discharge-dyed grey silk dress fabric with a design reminscent of a mosaic of broken china fragments. The fragments depict fragmentary sections of mosaic, architectural drawings (depicting Corinthian pillar finials), and other fragments of pattern in gold, and gold-and-black.
