Physical description
Twelve-piece jigsaw puzzle, made from plywood mounted with chromolithographed paper. The design shows two boys, a girl and a dog on a raft playing pirates, with a toy cannon and a 'Jolly Roger' flag. On the side of the raft is the word 'HISPANIOLA'. One boy wears a long red and white striped hat and is looking through a telescope, the other has an eyepatch and is brandishing a wooden sword. The girl is seated at the rear and is paddling the raft. The backs of the pieces are marked 'SARAH' in blue ink.
