The pack has a total of 44 cards. The aim of the game is to collect two sets of four cards, if there are less than five players, or one set of four cards if there are more than five. The illustrations are taken from a series of books written by Richmal Crompton (1890-1969). Just William was the first book in a series she wrote about the anarchic schoolboy William Brown. The stories were originally published in a women's magazine and the first book was published in 1922.
