The game had not been used and the majority of the small cards were still in strips. To use these would need to be separated.
On the side of the box is a circular white label giving the price - 1/-

Rules:
Mr. J Richard Spear, managing director of the company in 1969, was able to identify and give an approximate date for the game. He also lent the museum three trade catalogues dating from 1905-10, about 1925 and 1930-35. Business history past and present was given too.
The English part of the company still controlled the Germany side at the time. Before 1939 all production was done at Nuremberg, however, following the war, the English language edition were produced at Enfield.

In the 1994/5 period the company became part of Mattel Inc. but retains its own tradenames and marks.
