Gallery label | The cosmetics manufacturer and perfumier, François Coty, first commissioned designs for perfume bottles from Lalique in 1908. The first of these was for the perfume 'Cyclamen' and the first production was made at Baccarat. On the strength of the Coty commission, Lalique rented the Compagnie Générale d'Éléctricité glassworks, Combs-la-Ville in the autumn of 1908, purchasing it in 1913 |
