Object history
Circ.720-1971 to Circ.723-1971 (two prints onto paper and two onto cloth) were commissioned by Mr. Carol Hogben of the Circulation department in 1971 directly from Nancy Nicholson at Poulk Press in Ansty, Wiltshire. They were new impressions from 1930s blocks in her possession and authorised by Ben Nicholson. The commission was for display in a travelling exhibition of his work.
