This pattern was designed by the artist and designer Claude Lovat Fraser in 1914, however this particular piece of fabric dates from a reissue of the pattern in 1973 by Liberty of London Prints Ltd. While this piece of fabric retains the artist's original colours, the 1973 reissue included several different colourways. These were devised by Liberty's then design and colour consultant Susan Collier.
