Fragments of silk textile. With a pattern of two types of circle, arranged in quincunx-fashion, on a lattice ground. The large circle, of about 22-24 cm in diameter,shows four birds and a tree with leaves and fruit, within a rinceau border. The smaller circle, about 18-20 cm in diameter, shows stylised fruit forms within a rinceau border. The pattern was originally in yellow on dark blue, with red for the eyes and claws of the birds. Part of the bottom end of the cloth is present, marked by a plain blue band, a yellow line, and a band of reciprocal cresting, yellow on blue.

Half weft faced compound twill. Paired main and single binding warp ends, Z brown silk. Dark blue and yellow silk wefts continuos red silk weft intermittent.
