Furnishing fabric 'Synthesis', of screen-printed cotton (8 flat screens), with a bold pattern of emandering floral, foliate and animal forms in green, dark blue, browns, pink and red on a natural ground. Warner described it: 'The structure of the design is based on that known as the Indian or Tree of Life design. However, all the motifs are interpretations of small and minute creatures that can only be seen with the aid of a microscope. The following list should give some inication of the surprising variety of form: tea lillies, algae, diatoms, citrata, coral, sea urchins, starfish, plankton, polyps, protozoa.'
