This version of Snakes and Ladders features figures of the silent film star, Charlie Chaplin, on its numbered squares. Action squares are in yellow with red numbers and marked with stars or arrows. The rest of the squares are green with yellow numbers. Arrows show the direction of the move and the stars the square to move to.

The statement 'British Manufacture' was used in and around the First World War period by a number of game publishers. This particular game may have been made by the Chad Valley company.

The statement BRITISH MANUFACTURE used in and around the First World War period was used by a number of publishers, however, it may be that this game is a Chad Valley one.
