Furnishing fabric of cotton and worsted damask. With a design of branches, leaves and flowers in buff on a blue ground. There is a point repeat 6.5 inches wide and about two to three inches longer that the length of the fabric. The pattern is in warp-faced cotton and the background is weft-faced worsted. Although predominantly woven in satin and reverse satin, the main motifs of the design are shaded or emphasised by the use of other weaves.
