Vase of buff stoneware. Tall cylindrical form opening on opposite sides, the tops of which are covered over with flat sloping panels with square-cut edges; the mouth on the other two sides rising upwards in blade-like fashion. Heavily coil-built with smoothed exterior; flat base. Slip covering inside mouth and complete exterior including base; dark glaze on interior to below mouth, with slight overlapping onto slip.
Decoration: Abstract cloud and flower pattern.
