This is a figure of Death made in South West Germany (Upper Rhine), in ca. 1500-1550. The figure is about to loose an arrow. The bow is missing. Symbols of decay, a lizard, snail, slugs and snakes, are depicted on the skull.

The skeletal figure of Death faces right and is about to shoot an arrow - the bow is missing. A lizard, snail, slugs, and snakes are depicted over the skull.
