Tea spoon, Sandringham pattern, the bowl oval, the handle tapers towards the bowl spreading outwards towards the tip, returning to a point. The edges of the handle, both front and back have a raised ridge except around the embossed decoration at the tip on the upper surface. The embossed decoration consists of: E II R (in script) over a profile portrait of the Queen, facing right within an oval cartouche above the legend CORONATION / 1953 within a cartouche.
