Soup plate of porcelain. White ground decorated with a painted medallion in the centre (from Views of Italy in Medallions) of the Couvent Royal de St. François. Border decoration consists of concentric gilded bands and lines with flower garlands between rosettes along border and 17 pairs of laurel leaves between yellow ground to oval maroon cartouches with building motives in warm grey camaïeu.
