Evening dress of silk taffeta in gold reversing to black. With a straight cut sleeveless drop-waisted bodice, and with a strip with piped edges running down each side to the hip seam. Near the waist on the left front is a panel of self material decorated with diamanté work in a circular design. The skirt is gathered onto the bodice at hip level, and has six panels, each with a circular diamanté motif similar to that on the bodice. With a silk taffeta underskirt in pale turquoise which is joined at the hip.
