Object history
This hat was worn by Mrs Josephine Reed for her marriage in March 1940. She bought it from Harrod's as a Paris hat, where it cost five pounds and five shillings. The reception was held at Grosvenor House in London. She later wore the hat to the wedding of her daughter in December 1968.
