This garland of fruit made in polychrome enamelled terracotta shows a bunch of fruit comprised of lemons, figs and olives, tied with a blue ribbon. It dates from the second half of the fifteenth century and was made in the workshop of Della Robbia.

Physical description

Garland of fruit, relief in polychrome enamelled terracotta. The relief shows a bunch of fruit comprising lemons, figs and olives, tied with a blue ribbon on a white ground. The relief is fragmentary and has been broke at both the top and bottom.
