This is a mould for a medal made from pressed horn. The medal which depicts an allegorical scene, commemorates the twenty years truce between France, Spain and the Empire established by the Treaty of Ryswych. In the middle between two flaming pillars stands a draped female figure, wearing a crown. In her right hand she holds a tilting lance, with her left she extinguished the flames on one of the pillars. One pillar is decorated with two palm fronds, the other with crossed swords. In the background is the sea and two ships.
