Object history
One of a number of designs (5131 to 5406) for gold- and silver-smiths' work by Erasmus Hornick and other Flemish, German and Italian artists who worked c. 1582-3 at the court of Rudolph II in Prague.

Acquired as a a collection of 276 old designs in a small folio volume with vellum cover. Purchased from J M Whitehead as per Board minute Dec 3 1867. Price £200-0-0.
