Reverse of a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Andrew March 1960 Multiple copies of Beaton’s photographs were sent to newspaper publishers. The reverse of the photographs provided journalists with an embargo date and the details of the photographic sitting, such as the location and the Queen’s attire.
