Triangular sculptural form, made of buff stoneware clay, the piece was formed by press-moulding into an exterior mould. The imprints left by the open-meshed cloth that was used to line the mould are an important decorative feature of the pot's exterior. Finger marks are clearly visible inside. From above the pot is essentially the shape of an equilateral triangle. Each of the three equal side consists of a vertical central panel framed above and below by identical looking inward sloping sections that end in the mouth and base respectively. The central panels are mildly faceted around the corners while the upper and lower sections have strong angular indentations of an abstracted floral nature. The rim has three peaks corresponding to each of the corners of the triangle and slopes in its jagged fashion towards the centre of each side.
