Part of a tea set, which consists of one handleless teapot and five handleless cups.

The cups are similarly shaped and decorated to the teapot, but without the three medallions. The glaze is plain within; on the outside the thicker band at the top is Oribe green; the rest of the sides is decorated with vertical light brown stripes alternating with dark brown lines sparsely embellished with groups of three dots, the whole of this decoration being against a clear-glazed background.
Underneath is an impressed square mark Zui.

Box: Wooden box inscribed Chaka/Oribe takara-bin/Chaki/Zuiko?ya-gama with red seal Zuiko.
