Physical description

Illuminated manuscript fragment depicting a blue initial 'E'? on a gold background decorated with flower, diamond and oval shapes. In the counter of the letter are three scenes, top right, a bearded man sleeping in bed; bottom right, a man holding a basket and key by a door and left the bearded man at the open door, taking items from a basket held by the other man.
