Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones, page from a sketch-book containing figure and drapery studies in pencil, coloured chalk and coloured ink.

The sketchbook (37 leaves) contains studies for paintings in the 'Pygmalion' series; the 'Perseus' series; 'Love and the Pilgrim'; 'The Depths of the Sea'; 'The Wheel of Fortune' and 'Sibylla Delphica'. There is also a study for the bronze relief of 'The Entombment'.
