Vase of rectangular form thickly potted with straight sides spreading slightly downwards and angled in briefly to the foot; with narrow flat shoulder and sides rising straight above the mouthrim. Covered with a thick and lustrous black glaze with random splashes of rust all over; the base slightly concave, and glazed within the scarcely-refined foot.
