Marks and inscriptions

Inscribed at lower right, in brown ink (with museum's Dyce inv. no.), 396. Inscribed on mount, in pencil: at lower left (now nearly illegible), 13; on separate fragment glued on at lower centre, Bloemaart; and at lower right, in a nineteenth-century hand (with Dyce's original inv. no.), 210.
