Object history
F & C Osler was one of the leading manufacturers of light fittings, candelabra and other luxury goods in glass. It's London showrooms were designed by Owen Jones, and built 1858-60. The firm, founded in 1807, was finally wound up in 1976.

Provenance: In the possession of the firm; given to the Museum by P A G Osler, Trustee of the company's assets.
