Leather, silk, metal and beads
For this collection, Versace focused his interest
in materials on leather. This ensemble, with its nod
to Western-wear, is a tour-de-force of leatherwork. Both the waistcoat and trousers are covered with fine leather fringe, which is anchored to the garments with a complex series of small diamanté studs. The waistcoat fastens, bondage-style, with
a row of buckles down the front.
