Object history
Registered File number 1993/2011, Streetstyle exhibition 1994-1995, in the exhibition it was part of an outfit called 'Fashion Mod - Paul Smith - UK Autumn/Winter 1993' (includes the shirt T.307-1994).

Describing this suit from his "True Brit" collection, Paul Smith stated: 'My inspiration came from the working class Mods of the sixties who were influenced by the eccentric Savile Row tailoring at the time. It's the bringing together of the working and upper classes through dressing that intrigues me'.
