This is a fragment of a mosaic pavement composed of tesserae of coloured marble embedded in grey cement. The portrions of the rectangular panels are filled in with tesserae of various colours bordered with bands of black and white, the angles are cut off and the triangular spaces so formed are filled in with red or brown tesserae.
