Mug of soft-paste porcelain, transfer-printed in black over the glaze with a half-length portrait of 'The Illustrious Prince FERDINAND of BRUNSWICK'. Barrel-shaped with a scrolled loop handle, and mounted with a silver rim wrought with rococo scrollwork. The portrait is flanked on one side by a battle-scene, and on the other side by a shield with the arms of Prussia amid a trophy of weapons and flags, one of which is inscribed with 'Minden'.

Barrel-shaped with a scrolled loop handle, and mounted with a silver rim wrought with rococo scrollwork.
