Box and lid, grey porcelain, painted in blackish underglaze blue, with traces of enamel colouring.
The box and lid are of depressed globular form, the domed cover being without a knob. Painted with empty ogee and petal-shaped panels in outline; irregularly circular spots are scattered over the glaze where enamel colours (now flaked away) appear to have been applied.

Physical description
Box and lid, grey porcelain, painted in blackish underglaze blue, with traces of enamel colouring.
The box and lid are of depressed globular form, the domed cover being without a knob. Painted with empty ogee and petal-shaped panels in outline; irregularly circular spots are scattered over the glaze where enamel colours (now flaked away) appear to have been applied.
